Philani mats are handwoven from recycled t-shirt material, with natural-coloured fringes at top and bottom. Inspired by rural and township Xhosa life and images, they can be used as original and durable rugs. Many striped and abstract designs in a variety of colours. Machine washable.

Our weavers have numerous designs depicting animals, rural scenes, township life and abstract images. They also come in a range of sizes and colours. The weavers are able to even make a hanging based on your design.
